Look at That Campaign!
It is another exciting week in the crowdfunding campaign space. Here are a handful of solid projects you can read about and even back, if you so choose. So, with that out of the way, let’s begin together.
This Week’s Top Picks
This week we have Conan, Eve: War for New Eden, Fate: Defenders of Grimheim, Masters of the Universe and Storm Raiders available. All of these campaigns are excellent projects to back. Each project is linked to the live campaign as well. Enjoy.
Conan
The classic now offers three ways to enjoy this game including solo, cooperative and competitive modes of play. Conan is a miniatures skirmish board game for one to five players. There are four levels of pledge available.
Pledge levels include Red Nails, New Recruit, Veteran and Masters of the Hyborians (all-in). If you are new to the game, be sure to pick up the core box option. There is a lot of content offered here, review your pledge choices and choose wisely.
Eve: War for New Eden
Even: War for New Eden is a resource management and space warfare tactical game. The game is based upon the popular EVE Online MMO video game. There are also pledge rewards for the online game as well.
The campaign offers three pledge levels with optional addons. Interestingly enough, the highest pledge offers extra-large components to make your space gaming battles all the more epic. Highly recommend you review all the pledge choices for this one.
Fate: Defenders of Grimheim
From the creators of Terraforming Mars comes Fate: Defenders of Grimheim! Fate is a one to four player cooperative defense game. You defeat monsters, upgrade your heroes, and complete quests.
The project offers three distinct levels of pledges. The pledge levels include Viking Warrior, Viking Hero and Viking Legend. The upgraded pledge levels consist of miniatures and an expansion.
Masters of the Universe
What can we say here - Masters of the Universe ruled the 1980’s toy and cartoon scene! This is the second crowdfunding campaign for CMON’s Masters of the Universe title. Masters is a cooperative one-versus-many or one-versus-all skirmish board game.
This second campaign now supports worldwide shipping, so if you missed out on the first campaign with the limited shipping, now is your chance to snag this great title up! There have been many reviews of this game, most of which are very positive. The campaign offers a large variety of expansions and game-enhancing components.
Storm Raiders
Storm Raiders is a one to four player racing and pickup-and-deliver game system designed by Shem Phillips. Over the course of six rounds, players will navigate a post-apocalyptic game board savaging wreck sites and completing objectives. All while dodging the oncoming storm.
The game ships with an awesome circular game board, innovative player dashboards, and a storage tray via the Deluxe edition. Additional enhancements from the Deluxe edition include acrylic standees, dice tray compatible game board, and wooden and plastic components (as opposed to cardboard).
